This visualization simulates how neurons in your brain communicate through action potentials.
Learn moreThis Python tool turns EEG data into sound. It’s a fun, interactive way to explore complex data using both your eyes and ears, helping to find patterns that are easy to miss with just visuals.
This web app simulates the Hodgkin-Huxley model, which explains how neurons 'fire'. You can play with the settings and see how different changes affect the neuron's activity!
A machine learning algorithm that classifies envisioned hand movement EEG signals. This is a key step in building some types of neuroprosthetic interfaces.
Hybrid convolutional and recurrent neural network based on the DanQ model to predict and understand regulatory patterns in non-coding DNA genomics.
This project analyzes how our emotions change the way we write, from our sentence structure to the words we choose. It uses natural language processing to understand the connection between feelings and language.
My previous couple weeks as an intern involved a lot of honing in on my creative skills and learning how to effectively work as a team. I learned a ton, from shaping our brand identity to building our online presence, and I enjoyed tackling the (plentiful) challenges along the way.
Read MoreI am currently interning for Lacuum, a marine robotics company specializing in making autonomous and amphibious vessels to clean lakes of biomass-- mostly invasive plants. As part of the Digital Summer Clinic (and in conjunction with Ann Arbor Spark) I have gotten to do things like manually clean a lake, experiment with logo design, and do script work and filming for a video we are submitting for grant funding from an environmental tech challenge. Recently, I also passed the Google Analytics Individual Qualification! Yayy! I am truly excited to get to apply the analytics skills I gained to this blog and any website I contribute to the future.
Read MoreHey! Thanks for stopping by. I recently completed my degree in Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience at Michigan State University with a computational minor. I'm passionate about combining my love for biology and technology to develop innovative solutions for clinical challenges.
Outside the classroom, I'm an amateur photographer who loves spending time outdoors connecting with nature. I'm also a perpetual learner. I absolutely love picking up new hobbies and skills, from coding personal projects to exploring creative pursuits of any kind.
