Branding and Building at Lacuum

This week at Lacuum has been a great look into what it's like to build a business from the ground up. Lacuum is working on some really cool autonomous robots for cleaning up the environment. The startup world is so exciting, and you definitely have to be ready to wear many different hats. It's been great to feel like every task, big or small, is an important piece of the puzzle (even if the pieces looks a little different every day!).

From Grant Proposals to Brand Identity

I got to do a fun mix of business and creative work this week. Our biggest win was finishing up a video for a grant application. It was really rewarding to craft the story of Lacuum in a way that will-- hopefully-- get people as excited about it as we are. Hitting that submit button was a huge relief, and it felt so good to send Lacuum's vision out there to help the company grow.

The website is the next big thing on the list. I started contributing to it this week, and it's really cool to see how our branding discussions are already shaping the look and feel of the company's landing page. Every little choice feels like a piece of a bigger puzzle, except the final product changes a little every day. There is always something to improve, and I really love getting to be a part of that process.

Looking Ahead

It's been a week of learning and contributing in a real way. From helping with a grant that could provide funding, to shaping the company's public image, the work feels really meaningful. I'm excited to see which logo we choose and to help build the website that will be Lacuum's introduction to the world. Things are moving quickly, and I'm so happy to be a part of it! :)
